We’re not quite done with the madness that was happening at Miller weekend before last. After Lap Battle and the NASA races wrapped up attention swung towards the paddock, where all the noise and smoke was coming from. I briefly set up shop behind some plastic barriers, which was awesome until someone got a little too close and shot all the barriers at me. I then moved myself over to the other side of the course, then settled in with the peanut gallery which consisted of Dave, Joey, and other Trent. As the competition began we started throwing out hashtags. Here’s some of the highlights:
#thebirdman. “And I don’t even like hashtags” – Dave. That’s Jordan “The Birdman” Collier
#symmetricalrearwheeldrive Derrick Lopez’s RWD STi drift monster proving that 2 > 4 is sound math
#yasha Yasha was killing it, but he never touched the wall despite the fact that pieces of his bumper were hanging off
#sometimesmiataistheanswer Nick Stucky and the dude with the massive wing were proving that Miatas can be something other than cone dodgers.
