Euro SL,UT Fest 2011

July 30 was the first ever Euro SL,UT Fest, and for a first time event it was a great turnout!  Surprisingly Trent was out of town and wasn’t there to cover this, so I made the trek to Wheeler Farm to bring you the photos.  Check them out after the jump.

Euro SL,UT was a 3 day event with a meet and greet on Friday night, a show & shine and canyon drive Saturday, and a dyno day Sunday.  I was only able to attend the show and shine, so all I have for you are pretty cars sitting in a field at a pretty farm.

As with any show & shine there were winners.  There were 7 categories: Best Audi, Best BMW, Best Volkswagen, Best Other Euro, Best Wheels, Best Stance, and Cleanest Ride.  I didn’t have a vote (which was a travesty!  Just kidding), but despite that some excellent winners were chosen.  And they are!:

Best Audi: Michael Rodgers, white Audi A4

Best VW: Nick Larson, 2004 turbocharged VW R32

Best BMW: Christian McDaniel, White E90 M3

Best Other Euro: Michael Mason, Volvo C30 (which you’ve seen in our Wide Open Wednesday coverage)

Best Wheels: David Thomas, 2006 Volkswagen GTI

Best Stance: Nick Larson, 2004 turbocharged VW R32

Cleanest Ride: Lincoln, 2003 VW 20th AE GTi

We have high hopes for this event next year, and will be back for more when it rolls around on the schedule again.
