Rain was the story of the day last Wednesday at Miller Motorsports Park. Torrential rain. But despite the downpour and the lightning, Wide Open Wednesday soldiered on. Gallery of the rain soaked event after the jump.
There was only a 20% chance of rain, but those 1 in 5 odds paid off huge. After waiting about 45 minutes for it to “let up”, the session got under way. So I donned a garbage bag (because I, like a moron, took my jacket out of my car before the MPRA weekend) and braved the storm to get some photos.
The next Wide Open Wednesdays event is on July 13. Come out and enjoy some time on the track, go karting or auto crossing!
