And I’ll be damned if they didn’t do well. Cole, in the Sydney GTR’s first event on American soil, went out and ran a 1:21.258 which got him second place in the Unlimited AWD class.
And Vincent Meyer was along for his first GTA event. He was in the Unlimited AWD class as well, and clocked a best time of 1:32.961. Not bad for his first time out!
Christopher Stone went in out in the pink accented Spec Z for Unlimited RWD, and pulled out a 1:38.115. Considering he was in a car built to a very specific rule book for sprint racing, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he didn’t finish at the top of the heap against cars built to lay down one flying lap.
And in Street AWD was a blast from the past: Sally McNulty! She turned a 1:37.823 and took home third place!
We’re super stoked for our friends, that they’re out there doing awesome things like running in GTA, World Time Attack, Pike’s Peak, Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Cup, Super Trofeo, Formula D, World Challenge, and some other series that I know I’m forgetting. We’re lucky to have such awesome friends, and we hope they keep having success.
