The September 7 Wide Open Wednesday session was the last event on the big track, and to show their thanks the folks at Miller Motorsports Park gave the participants a present…
They opened up both the East and West tracks! For the first time, WOW patrons could choose where they wanted to turn laps. It was a great event that coincided with their Drive Away Hunger event, a food drive for the Tooele Food Bank. Only $25 worth of high protein, non-perishable food served as your entrance fee. The turn out was great, and having both tracks hot made for a hectic time for your faithful photographer. Despite that I still got what you come to this website for:
pictures of kittens a 109 photo gallery of the on track action, shots from the queues, and random shots of awesome cars in the parking lot.
I’d like to thank everyone at Miller Motorsports Park for making this event happen. This is a truly unique event, and a great introduction to driving on the track. This was the last event this year, but it will be back next year so if you couldn’t make it out to an event this year then ask Santa for a helmet and some tires and come out next year!
